Lucifer....the cat.

It has been kind of weird around here these last couple of days. My daughter got "Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True" from the library, and she has watched it every day. (I can't stand it).

Lucifer the cat is in the movie. He was also in the first "Cinderella" movie. For some reason my daughter has become obsessed with Lucifer and Pom Pom, the two cats in the movie. So, for days now I have been spelling the name L-U-C-I-F-E-R for my precious daughter to spell. Multiple times a day. All around our house on pink heart paper there is the name Lucifer.

I'm sorry, but that is W-E-I-R-D.

(BTW--I do not recommend Google Image searching the name Lucifer. That is weird, too)

My New Obsession

That is right. I am LOVING Jazzercise. I've done gyms, my treadmill at home, "training" to run a 5K, etc, etc, etc. This is the first time I've really enjoyed exercise in a long time.

I am enjoying it even though I thought I was signing up for this:

Oh, well....

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

This is all I have to say about this:

Camille: A crazy person dressed in a normal person's clothing.

Kim: Booze hound. After that revelation, everything just clicked into place. Oh, and she is living in the past.

Lisa: Love her. Fun-loving & loyal.

Kyle: Speaks her mind, I like it. I think she is nice, but under a lot of stress from her sister's problems.

Taylor: She puzzles me. I think she is in it for the money.

Adrienne: Love her. Practical, but bad dresser.

December - Christmas 2010

We had a hectic December. It was fun, but a lot of traveling. After Disney, we spent a few days at Adrian's parent's house, and a few days at my parent's house. The kids loved it, but I was definitely worn out. I tried my hardest to keep presents to a minimum....but it didn't seem to work out. Toys seem to multiply.

Abigail would sit on Santa's lap this year, but not Adam. He wasn't scared...he just didn't have the time.

The kids love playing in the snow. It has snowed a lot this year. And, yes, those are grocery sacks tied around their tennis shoes....we don't have snow boots!

Here is our little tree. The kids had a great Christmas morning. I love seeing their faces when they see their stockings full, and tons of presents under it.

Adam's favorite toy, and his most useless toy. HE CANNOT STEER!!!!

Hope everyone had a great holiday!

Paris Mushroom Soup - French Fridays

First bite: Delicious!
Second bite: Great!
Third bite: Hmmmmm, pretty good
Fourth bite: Interesting....
Fifth bite: I think I'm done.

That, in a nutshell, was my experience with this soup. I think what it boiled down to is that I loved the smell of the soup. The mushrooms, garlic, onions, and spices just smelled divine. However, the taste...not so much.

I determined at the beginning of this French Fridays exercise to make the recipe exactly as written, but I may change that. I had serious reservations as I was pureeing the gorgeous mushroom soup in my blender. It was turning a gorgeous soup into a muddy mash. In hindsight, I wish I would have left the mushroom soup non-blended.

Disneyworld!!!!!

Last week we were in Orlando. It was the first time Adrian or I had been there. It was fantastic! We loved it, and the kids loved it. I was afraid that Adam would be too young, but he enjoyed it as much as Abigail did. I loved going at Christmas, it was gorgeous. We only went to the Magic Kingdom and Sea World. We liked them both, but I definitely liked the Magic Kingdom better. We also went to "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party." Loved it!

Here is Main Street decorated for Christmas:

Here is a Christmas show we saw during the party:

Anyway, sorry for all the pictures, but I just couldn't pick a few. And, I have tons more I haven't gone through yet. I haven't gotten them off my phone, or gotten some off my mom's phone. My parents were there, too. We all had a great time!

When Abigail is a preteen...

...and she claims that I am mean and don't love her, I am going to show her these pictures.

Yes, these are turkey's I made for her preschool class at her request. She happened to be standing by the computer one day when these were on a blog I was looking at. She wanted them, and I complied. Because I love her.
