Zoo

On Saturday, Adrian and I took Abigail on a family outing to the zoo. It really was fun. Abigail loves the animals. Especially the "kitties" (i.e. the Bengal tigers, lynx and cougar).

This is a confused Abigail. "Why won't you let me hug the kitty?" I wish the picture showed the white tiger. It was about five feet away from us behind the fence, laying down, alert, and ready to spring--staring directly at Abigail. It was creepy, and I kept thinking about the tiger that got loose in that CA zoo.

Childishly, one of my favorite parts of the trip was seeing two turtles doing the wild thing. It was one of the most awkward things I've ever seen. Apparently, I looked at them a little too long, and made Adrian uncomfortable because he furiously whispered "QUIT LOOKING AT THE TURTLES!" I was forbidden to take a picture.

Poop Everywhere!

I am so annoyed with my daughter. We were over at a friend's house playing Wii, when all of the sudden my friend Whitney says "What does Abigail have in her hand?" It was POOP. She and Whitney's daughter Holland were in the kitchen, and I guess Abigail took off her diaper, pooped, and then the two girls picked it up and were CARRYING IT AROUND. I about puked. Then, my husband was supposed to be taking care of Abigail while I was running around cleaning up poop....well let's just say when I finally picked Abigail up there was still poop on her hands, and it was then on me! My friend tells me I will laugh about this tomorrow, but I am not laughing now.

On a better note, I won the bowling Wii tournament. I rocked.

Blogging Beginner

I was reading my friend's blogs tonight, Kim and Angie, and I wanted them to see cute pictures of my kid, and laugh at my goofy stuff, too. So, I am going to start small, with this lame posting and an adorable picture of Abigail.
